Toddlers
Toddlers are very special to us at Play and Learn. We offer a loving, caring, environment where nurturing and physical affection are given freely.
The latest psychological studies demonstrate that infancy is the most important time in a child's life. This is the time when bonding (the
process of building strong, lasting emotional ties), feelings of self-worth, confidence, independence, and fears, (both healthy and unhealthy)
are rooted for a lifetime. We are dedicated to maintaining the strong bonds of intimacy, warmth, and security that your child enjoys at home,
with you. We are also strongly committed to meeting your child's physical, psychological, and emotional needs while your infant is in our care.
At Play and Learn, we place great emphasis on the individuality of each child. With our low ratio of children to adults, provides the opportunity
for your baby to develop at his or her own pace in an atmosphere of security and love. Our infant toys were chosen because they are visually
stimulating and colorful with pictures, mobiles, unbreakable mirrors, that have been carefully selected to help develop hand-eye coordination
and promote fine motor skills.
The program includes aural stimulation with music, songs, conversation, and toys that make clicking, spinning, and squeaking sounds.
Outside play provides for the sights and sounds of nature with the added health benefit of fresh air and sunshine.
Each day, children have the opportunity to develop cognitive, social, emotional, and physical skills through active exploration in learning centers
and during group time.
